Fawn Brodie McKay was born on September 15, 1915 was raised in Ogden Utah. Fawn MacKay, born into the Mormon Church's first family, used her astonishing abilities as a writer and her formidable research skills in order to create the psycho-historical biographies of Joseph Smith. The book, No Man knows My History was published in 1945. This title is derived from a funeral speech delivered by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844 when he startled the congregation with his words"You don't know me" I never told you about my heart. No one knows about my past. It is not possible for me to share it with you. Fawn wrote the 29-year-old Fawn. From that point the three authors have stood up to this challenge. Some have attempted to establish a medical diagnosis. The documents aren't insufficient however they do have a lot of contradictions. This is the task--sifting out first-hand testimony from third hand inconsistencies and integrating Mormon-related narratives into a coherent theology. It is both exciting and informative. This is the kind of task to which Fawn Brodie devoted herself professionally. Thaddeus Steves became a global celebrity as a result of the research she conducted and her work. The Devil's Drive (1959) The Southern Scourge. Thomas Jefferson. An Intimate Historiography (1974) and later posthumously Richard Nixon.
