Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a unique pop star: a superstar who crossed over completely from the world of country music to pop culture, becoming an iconic pop star that is set to endure forever, and sweeping over everywhere. Swift let go of the influences from her country music in the sense that they had been added as an extra layer of skin. She revealed that she was one of the most talented singers/songwriters in her time. Swift could make the moment personal or harness the moment to benefit. Swift's early hits, especially her neo celebration of Tim McGraw, showed off her skills. The album from 2008 Fearless showed a singer-songwriter who was beginning to discover herself, and gaining a huge following. The album was hugely successful not just in America and six of the singles were certified platinum in the wake of Top Ten hit songs Love Story and Belong with Me. But it also performed well around the globe. Swift was able to consolidate her success by releasing Speak Now almost two year after. In the three albums that followed the three albums that followed -- Red 2012, 1989 2014 as well as Reputation 2017 -- her success only grew. It was a clear sign she had moved to a new pop world that she could be part of. As she cut her style to the stripped-down versions of 2020, Folklore, and Evermore however, she remained in the top spot. It was a position that was confirmed with the re-recordings she had made from her earlier catalog, as in Midnights the synth-based chart-topper 2022 album.
