In the wake of a rapid rise in her popularity, she was offered roles on major screens including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. After that, she delivered a stunning role in Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime-lord O Ren Ishii. While she was in the film, her roles as an actress in the flops at the box office such as Rise: Blood Hunter were as well-known.
