Lucy Liu is a voice actress singer and director. She is also an actor. She's a beautiful, skilled actress that has inspired numerous Asian actors to achieve success in Hollywood. After a series of initial performances in popular shows her fame was boosted after joining the team of the legal comedy show Ally McBeal where she played the villainous Ling Woo. In the wake of a rapid rise in her popularity, she was offered roles on major screens including Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. After that, she delivered a stunning role in Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime-lord O Ren Ishii. While she was in the film, her roles as an actress in the flops at the box office such as Rise: Blood Hunter were as well-known. In the following years, she started voicing the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small screen parts, did not achieve much success. Southland's highly praised police show, Southland and a recurring performance helped Liu to reestablish herself as an established actor.
