Angela Cartwright Urach

Cartwright and Steve Gullion married in 1976. Their two sons are named Steve and Angela. Angela Cartwright was born and raised in England as the older cousin to actress Veronica Cartwright. The show she was on featured in The Danny Thomas Show as Linda Williams when she was just a small child. She was on The Danny Thomas Show (1953) between 1957 and 1964. She was then cast in Julie Andrews's cult film The Sound of Music, (1965) in the role of Brigitta. Her return to TV series was as Penny Robinson in Lost in Space (1955) in 1965-1968. Despite its low-budget episodes and silly storyline Lost in Space (1965) remains a cult program today. Angela was the main character in Make Room for Granddaddy (70) the sequel to the original show, which was canceled soon after. Since that time she has had a career outside of films. Born within England Angela has been the youngest sister of actress Veronica Cartwright. The first time she was cast was in the year 1953 as Linda Williams, the adorable tiny step-daughter of Danny Thomas. Veronica A. Cartwright is a native of Britain. She has mostly worked in American films and TV. English actress Veronica Cartwright was only 13 years old when she was cast for the part of the birthday girl Cathy Brenner who narrowly escapes the throngs of ferocious fowl in the tiny village of Bodega Bay in Alfred Hitchcock's iconic 1963 horror film The Birds. Bonanza was one of the first television westerns to be broadcast in colour. The story was based on the Cartwrights which was a fictional family of ranchers living close to Virginia City Nevada a real mining town in the mid 1800s. The actor played the most junior Cartwright son, whose mother (Felicia in the pilot, and later changed to Marie) a widow and mother who's child lost his life to fever (episode Marie My Love) was born of French Creole descent.
